Cannabis Tincture

A cannabis tincture is a type of alcohol-based cannabis extract. Tinctures are a simple and effective method of administering cannabis orally or sublingually. They can also be added to foods and drinks similarly to CBD oils. To make a cannabis tincture, the plant material must be decarboxylated first, in order to activate its therapeutic compounds. After that, parts of the plant are suspended in alcohol for several weeks until the cannabinoids have been released. Finally, the solid parts are filtered out and the remaining liquid is poured into a flask with a dropper to facilitate administration.
