CBD oil is a type of cannabis oil that has cannabidiol as a main active ingredient. CBD oils can come as isolates, which include CBD as their only active compound, or they can be whole plant/full spectrum and broad-spectrum oils, which include other cannabinoids and terpenes in the mix. Although CBD oil can be derived from hemp, it is not the same as hemp oil or hempseed oil.
