Hash

Hash or hashish, is a kind of solventless cannabis extract made from the resin of the cannabis plant. Hash is extracted by separating the resinous trichomes from the plant material, and it was one of the first cannabis extracts in human history. There exist various processes for producing hash, which result in different types of hashish. All types of hash, however, share the characteristic of being produced without the use of solvents. The result can be a solid resinous material, a powder or a paste-like substance that contains the active compounds of cannabis in a concentrated form. Hash can be consumed orally (after decarboxylation), smoked purely, or mixed with tobacco or other smokable herbs.
